Hoodia Thin

HOODIA THIN IS NOT A COMPANY WITHOUT COMPLAINTS

hoodia_thinThere is no doubt that the Hoodia gordini plant delivers the promises it makes by naturally squashing the hunger of dieters all over the world. Which in turn helps people with their weight loss goals. Hoodia is so promising that a major pharmaceutical company in Britain, Phytofarm has been studying it for years in an effort to develop a drug that has the same effect as the natural action of the hoodia plant. Why make a drug instead of offering the plant?

That's easy. Money. It is against the law in most civilized governments to patent a natural product. That means oranges, apples, blueberries and oak trees cannot be patented, no matter what magical health promoting properties may be discovered of them. However, if you make a drug that can mimic the natural goodness of Mother Natures plants; you can hold a patent on this for twenty years and charge huge bucks for the consequential drug.

The other issue. There is only so much Hoodia to go around. This is a cactus like plant indigenous to South Africa that takes five years to mature. With such a limited supply due to the workings of Mother Nature, exactly where is it that all of these companies are getting pure Hoodia for prospective dieters? The answer is, they are not. The purchasers of Hoodia dietary supplements are getting hoodwinked every step of the way. There are only a few companies that sell Hoodia with the blessings and control of the South African government. Be sure to look for the C.I.T.I.E.S. seal on the website or the bottle to insure that this is so. Unfortunately, Hoodia Thin is not one of them.

Just to list a few complaints regarding Hoodia Thin. An unsuspecting customer in Palm Beach Florida, Tamara Sowkolowski ordered a free seven-day sample of their product. The only charge was to be 5.95 for shipping. The gentleman of the house blew his cork when he saw a 99.00 charge on his credit card for products he did not order. The website had a disclaimer that you must cancel your initial order within 14 days by certified letter or keep being shipped and charged for another bottle. While Tamara did this, the Hoodia thin kept coming. Things are so bad; they have even contacted the police as they are having trouble getting their money back.

The website ripoffreport.com has extensive complaints against the marketers of Hoodia Thin. The problem is there is no regulation of dietary supplements in the USA. There is nobody standing over dietary supplement manufacturers to make certain that what they put in the bottle actually matches the label. There is nobody that insures the strength or potency of any dietary supplement produced in the United States. This makes a dietary supplement free for all for manufacturers, most of we regard as dishonest. All we can say is consumer beware and try to make the best decision possible.
