Congratulations on deciding to loose weight! You have taken a step in the right direction and now are in need of proper meals to help you loose weight. Hundreds of thousands of people have lost weight using their prepackaged and carefully prepared meal plans. Here is the hard part for many. While they do offer introductory packages and all kinds of free stuff to help get you going, it is very expensive in the long run. This is simply not an option for many so we must look elsewhere for solutions. Most every city and town in the USA has an all you can eat food bar. Yup you heard us right! Most of these food bars have a scourge of choices not appropriate for anyone trying to loose a pound or two. However, many offer wise choices as well. We go to an all you can eat food bar twice per week because we are just too busy and tired to cook at the end of the day. This is not that hard if you can avoid the surrounding temptations. A typical meal for myself at our local place consists of a salad with vinegar and oil dressing, grilled chicken breast, cabbage and green beans. Fresh fruit for dessert. I didn't blow my diet and my tummy is full. Plan-C. Most grocery stores now have rotisserie chicken cooked and ready to go. They now have salad bars; vegetable trays cut and ready to go along with fruit trays as well. Some grocery stores have olive bars, cole slaw in packs waiting for your diet appropriate dressing and even steam tables with your favorite vegetables. Add some smoked salmon and some lentils; you are good to go in a pinch. Healthful weight loss meals are at your fingertips. Finally, self-responsibility sets in. Simply cook on the weekends. If you are cooking high quality hamburgers from low fat beef, rather than cook for the night, make enough to go two-three nights. Left over's in the fridge are easy to heat up in a jiffy. The same goes for a salad. Make a large enough salad to get you through three nights. Consider a fruit salad the same way. Cut up enough of your favorite fruits to get you through a few nights. Making a soup or a beef stew? Make a huge pot so you have lunch to take to work with you. If making unsweet tea or lemonade with appropriate sweeteners, make 2 gallons instead of one. Just spending one weekend after noon in the kitchen will yield results for both your weight and your pocket book. Do you have a weakness for already prepared frozen dinners? Just make enough of what you are cooking so you have enough left over's to freeze for a complete meal when needed. Having proper weight loss meals is not that difficult. It is a lot more fun when you plan ahead and cook and prepare them yourself. In the end, you control what you eat and what is in your food. In the end your pocketbook will thank-you.
